Thinking deep is beautiful, dreaming big is absolutely amazing. Drawing up plans is just as sweet. Budgeting and financing is a bold step. But guess what is as equally amazing as all the afore mentioned?
Whether in a classrooms or in your local community, in your business or at your work place, in your family or in a social gathering, you need someone who shares your vision. Someone who sees what you see.
As a leader or an emerging leader, you owe it to your volunteers, workers or friends to accurately and appropriately communicate your goals, wants and visions. They need to understand the main reason why they should do what they intend doing.
1. Effective workforce.
I think this one speaks for itself. When a team of motivated, they’d aim at the goal and they’d stop at nothing till it’s achieved.
2. Increase in productivity.
This further validates point 1.
3. Ability to grow.
You’d find yourself doing things you thought you couldn’t do. You wouldn’t just grow financially, but intellectually as well.
4. More brilliant ideas.
You should see the amount of amazing ideas that’d emanates from a young group of individuals on a brainstorm challenge.
5. Could lead to another source of funding.
When people share a vision with you, they will give anything to actualize it. Even if it is a large chunk of their life savings. In other words, they’d talk the talk and walk the walk.
6. Peace of mind.
You will be able to trust their intelligence and ability to deliver effectively. At the same time, it’ll lead to less workload for you as a leader.
• Effectively communicate your ideas to rightly selected individuals.
Note: I said rightly selected individuals because some people will only help in ruining your plan.
• As a leader, emerging leader or a “rightly selected individual” , do well to build a team not only based on work, but on love, care and accountability.
• Lastly, let God be your sense of direction.
