TIME MANAGEMENT FOR PRODUCTIVE RESULTS.

Being without a schedule/to-do list during this lockdown period is synonymous to allowing an entry of a virus into your career or business.

Staying at home gets you relaxed and with the urge to procrastinate. Today’s blog post  highlights ways you can stay productive at home while also giving yourself ample time to rest. We need your immune system to be strong and getting all worked up isn’t going to help us with that.

So I say, let’s dive in.

STEP 1.

Get a minimum of 6 hours rest everyday.

You can make it a 12am-6am or 11pm-5am or 10pm-4am timeline. Reason is because you need to be well rested for your brain to function effectively. Staying up all night to work and continuing with that same energy during the day is hazardous to your health.

 

STEP 2.

Create a To-do list.

Before you go to sleep at night, ensure to create the next days To-do list. It helps you stay true to your set goals and makes achieving them a whole lot easier. The idea is to either use it at a screensaver or paste it somewhere that meets your eye regularly e.g on your PC, on your study table or on the wall of near your makeshift work space. Ensure to tick off the activities as you complete them. It helps your ego and drives you to do more.

 

STEP 3.

Relax.

Have a specific time of the day where you can just chill, watch a movie or surf the internet.

See it as some sort of delayed gratification for the job done thus far.

 

STEP 4.

Eat.Good.Food.

Don’t just drown yourself in coffee. Have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep only a table water by your side. Not coffee and definitely not soft drinks.

Just water.

 

STEP 5.

Evaluate.

At the end of the day, check out how much work was done, what went right and what went wrong.

STEP 6.

Reward yourself.
