Hello there, welcome to today’s edition of MONSPIRATION. The topic of discussion today is BRAIN BANK. Now you might ask yourself, what is a brain bank?
A brain bank literally means a place where you reserve brain. It is also known as common sense bank.
Why you need a brain bank.
I came up with this post based on personal experience. I figured out that there are days I have a brain rush i.e when lots of amazing ideas and things to do came up in my head. I knew then that I needed to write them down somewhere so as not to forget.
A wise man once said it is very important to have a book and pen by your side whenever you wake up, as that is the moment your brain works at full speed, providing fresh ideas and lots of sense worthy things.
OK back to my story, we can’t totally trust our brain to store all informations as we’re just human and we are liable to forget some things. In that case, it is necessary to have it all saved somewhere, preferably a notepad, physical or virtual.
I realized that the more I did that, the more productive I became. I also find it as an avenue to draft future articles.
On days when I experience a brain shutdown and can’t seem to access my brain, I just take a stroll( not literally)to my brain bank and get all the ideas I need.
If you don’t want to use physical books, download a notebook app from your appstore or rather just record it. Whichever option you choose, make sure it is easily accessible as that is the main aim of the bank itself.
Just like you have a money bank where you save cash to use on days when you’re broke,
or a power bank where you save power to charge your mobile device when electricity isn’t available,
I implore you to have a brain bank. It would be of great help to you and also help you streamline coordinated thoughts.
NB: A brain bank isn’t a diary.
This is me wishing you a productive and happiness filled week. Don’t forget to comment, like, subscribe and share this post on your various social media handles.
